Awana Club
AWANA stands for “Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed”, which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.” The goal of AWANA is to help children come to KNOW God and GROW in their walk with God through learning from the Bible. A normal AWANA evening consists of 3 parts:
Handbook time
Children get the opportunity to memorize key verses from the Bible.
Game time
High energy group games.
Counsel time
Singing, Bible lessons, skits, object lessons all to teach about God and His Word
Cost
There is NO COST to you. Countryside Bible Church views it as a privilege to work with your children and covers the cost of your child’s handbook, AWANA uniform and awards.
